Podiatry is the study, diagnosis and treatment of disorders in the foot, ankle and lower limbs. Our Podiatrists specialise in the care of the feet and lower limbs. They offer a range of treatment and management options for a variety of foot problems. They provide assessment for lower limb injuries and foot conditions. In addition, they also provide general care and screening for diabetic and wound care.

Diabetic Foot Screening (DFS)

Diabetic Foot Care

  • Regular diabetic skin and nail care

Routine Podiatry Foot Care

  • Debridement of foot corns and calluses
  • Management of in-grown toe nails
  • Fungal infection of nail or skin

Wound Care Management of the Feet

  • Wound debridement
  • Wound dressing and management

Foot Care Education

  • Appropriate footwear
  • Basic wound care for diabetic feet
  • Nail care
  • Referral to other healthcare professionals, if necessary

Musculoskeletal Biomechanics
