  • Cataract: Latest Updates on Its Management
    Today's surgical technology has made it possible for patients to achieve spectacles independence in a safe and efficient manner. This talk will focus on the pros and cons of the different types of intraocular lenses available today as well as the use of femtosecond laser technology to enhance precision and efficacy in cataract surgery.

  • Glaucoma is the Silent Thief of Sight – How to nab it in time?
    Why does glaucoma still continue to be so in the developed countries? How do we diagnose and treat glaucoma early? Is glaucoma screening important? This talk will also include emerging new medical and surgical treatments that are in the pipeline for our patients.

  • Causes of Dry Eyes and looking beyond topical lubricants
    Dry eyes are largely inconvenient for most patients but it can also be very debilitating for some. Learn the causes of dry eyes and the therapeutic options for targeted dry eye management which is beyond the usual normal saline eye drops that the majority of patients are prescribed.


  • This event is organised for optometrists and opticians only
  • 2 CPE points will be awarded to registered optometrists and opticians in attendance. No CPE points will be awarded for attendees who turn up more than 20 minutes late.
