Caregiver Training Programme

It can be both physically and emotionally draining to care for a family member suffering or recovering from a medical condition, especially if there is lack of knowledge and skills on effective caregiving. Partially funded by the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) Grant, the JurongHealth Campus Caregiver Training Programme is designed to equip and support caregivers for their role. This interactive training programme imparts relevant skills, techniques and knowledge to enable caregivers to deliver efficient care with confidence and compassion.

This programme is approved by the Agency for Integrated Care’s (AIC) Caregiver Training Grant (CTG). The following may enjoy subsidised programme fees if they meet the following criteria:

  • The person being cared for must be a Singaporean or PR.

  • The person being cared for must be at least 65 years old OR be certified to have a disability by a doctor.

  • The caregiver must be an immediate family member OR a foreign domestic worker.

  • The caregiver must attain 100% attendance at the training.
